Giggs is one of the most decorated footballers of all time. During his time at United, he won 13 Premier League winner’s medals (1992–93, 1993–94, 1995–96, 1996–97, 1998–99, 1999–2000, 2000–01, 2002–03, 2006–07, 2007–08, 2008–09, 2010–11, 2012–13), more than any other player in history, four FA Cup winner’s medals (1993–94, 1995–96, 1998–99, 2003–04), three League Cup winner’s medals (1991–92, 2005–06, 2008–09), two UEFA Champions League winner’s medals (1998–99, 2007–08), a FIFA Club World Cup winners medal (2008), an Intercontinental Cup winner’s medal (1999), a UEFA Super Cup winner’s medal (1991) and nine FA Community Shield winner’s medals (1993, 1994, 1996, 1997, 2003, 2007, 2008, 2010, 2013). To put these achievements into perspective, Manchester United and Liverpool are the only clubs in English football history to have won more league championships than Giggs.

While winning many individual awards during his playing career, Giggs was appointed an OBE in the Queen’s 2007 Birthday Honours List for his services football. Despite his many English Premier League achievements, he has been surprisingly snubbed by the Premier League Hall of Fame.

Ryan Giggs moved into management after his playing career and is currently managing the Mens Welsh team.
