Widely regarded as one of the best defenders of his generation in both the Premier League and for England, John Terry captaining both sides as well as a season at Aston Villa after leaving Chelsea.

Terry is Chelsea’s most successful captain. During his 19 years with the club, he led them to five Premier League titles (2004–05, 2005–06, 2009–10, 2014–15, 2016–17), four FA Cups (1999–2000, 2006–07,2008–09, 2009–10), three League Cups (2004–05, 2006–07, 2014–15), two FA Community Shields (2005, 2009), one UEFA Europa League (2012–13) and one UEFA Champions League title (2011–12). He is one of five players to have made over 500 appearances for Chelsea and is also the club’s all-time highest scoring defender.

In his final season at Chelsea in 2017, he became the first ever player to captain a team to the Premier League title on five occasions. Following his playing career at Chelsea,

John Terry has also won many individual awards during his playing career including making the FIFA World Cup All-Star Team in 2006 and being included in the The Professional Footballers’ Association Team of the Century (1997–2007) in 2007.
