Drafted in the first round by the New York Giants in the 2021 NFL Draft and was then traded to the Kansas City Chiefs in 2022 where he’s since won back to back Superbowls (unfortunately he didn’t play in the 2023 post-season due to injury).

In Super Bowl LVII, Toney set a Super Bowl record by recording a 65-yard punt return in the fourth quarter, surpassing Jordan Norwood’s record of a 61-yard punt return in Super Bowl 50. Toney also caught a touchdown in the fourth quarter, putting the Chiefs ahead for the first time all game helping the Chiefs defeat the Philadelphia Eagles 38–35.
